What this dataset includes
Only NOTAMs active today are included, with the existing fail-open behaviour retained when dates cannot be parsed confidently. The dataset is filtered nationally for UK gliding relevance and is not geographically limited to a club area or task area.
Typical included categories
- danger areas
- temporary restricted, prohibited, and overflying restrictions
- TMZ and RMZ notices
- parachuting activity
- gliding and winch launching activity
- UAS and model flying activity
- fireworks and illuminants
- GNSS disruption and jamming warnings
- relevant low-level military and special activity
Typical excluded categories
- radar, admin, and service notices
- phone number changes
- LARS and radar availability notices
- PSR and SSR outages
- instrument training availability notices
- ATS communication updates
- purely IFR, administrative, or aerodrome notices
Operational-airspace exception
Service and radar notices are still preserved when they also mention operational airspace such as TMZ, RMZ, danger area, restricted area, TDA, TRA, or an overflying restriction.
Altitude rule
NOTAMs with a confidently parsed lower altitude above FL100, or above 10,000 ft AMSL, are excluded from this dataset.
Limitations
- The filter is experimental and may not match every pilot's expectations.
- Pilots must still use official briefing sources.
- Geometry is generated from parsed NOTAM data and may simplify some areas as circles.

The AWS pipeline refreshes this dataset automatically each day at approximately 08:05 UK local time.
